Reliable, Clean Energy at Competitive Cost with Smart Financing and a Transition Strategy to Get You from Here to There

Reliable, Clean (MMSR)

Nuclear energy is widely acknowledged as a necessary component of any viable energy plan. Renewables alone are insufficient to provide reliable baseload power across the full spectrum of sites and applications.

The MMSR (Micro Molten Salt Reactor) offers major advantages in stability, load following capability, and so forth, over renewables, as well as in health and environmental impact over fossil fuels.

Additionally, MMSR technology offers numerous advantages over other nuclear designs, such as the potential to dramatically reduce or even eliminate nuclear waste.

Competitive Cost

The MMSR solves issues that prevent other nuclear technologies from being cost competitive with renewables.

  • LEU in molten salts is far less expensive than HALEU, fuel rods, and TRISO particles.
  • MMSR design is less complex than other reactors, making it dramatically less expensive to build and operate.
  • The MMSR can be factory-built and shipped to its point of use, eliminating on-site construction costs.
  • The MMSR offers numerous offsets to operating costs, such as extraction and sale of high-value fission products and use of waste heat for industrial processes.

Smart Financing & AI

Joshua uses Power Purchase Agreements rather than debt to finance energy infrastructure build-out, giving us and our customers access to the massive wealth available in derivatives markets. Our PPAs are compatible with energy futures, and offer customers maximum flexibility while minimizing risk.

Joshua's PPAs also forsee the tokenization of energy demand, production, and usage data at a granular level. Data collection will enable the use of AI to optimize energy production, usage, and storage, and to help you make the best decisions regarding when to use energy, when to resell it, derivatives pricing, and more.

Transition Strategy

The MMSR is uniquely able to pair with existing energy generation methods, and to operate at the point of energy use, enabling an optimal path forward.

  • Colocate at existing generation sites, sharing facilities, turbines, management and transmission infrastructure.
  • No need to choose between waiting for existing facilities to be retired vs. wasting past investment by retiring them early.
  • Install an MMSR at or near the point of energy use to minimize or eliminate transmission costs.
  • The MMSR's simpler design may lead to faster licensing and construction, resulting in faster time to market than other reactor designs.
